We have new neighbours next to My Home in Delft!
There is an new eatery at Burgwal 48 called Bibi’s kitchen. They serve Persian food and dishes from the Middle East. Bibi is not the name of the owner. That is Marvesh! But Bibi means grandmother. And you know, grandmothers are always the best cooks!
In this case Marvesh is the one with great cooking skills. Her food is delicious. It is fresh & tasty. The atmosphere is warm. Everyone gets a personal welcoming by her or her husband. Her son works in the restaurant too. It is a cosy family athmosphere. There are about 15 places to sit. So if you really want to eat there, make a reservation. She is open from Wednesday till Saturday. And she also does take away.
I absolutely recommend the eggplant as a starter. My kids liked the yoghurt with mint a lot. The food also looks great. Although Delft has many restaurants, Bibi adds a new kind of cuisine to Delft.
ps my gluten-free son also had dinner with us at Bibi’s there are gluten-free options, ask Marvesh for the possibilities
